William Brobst, Ph.D. is a senior research analyst at JHU/APL working in the areas of readiness and training in the aviation, surface, and ground combat communities. Prior to JHU/APL, he spent 29 years as an analyst and team leader at the Center for Naval Analyses. Major analytic themes include understanding how training influences real-world performance, the development and sustainment of tactical proficiency, and optimizing the contributions of different training formats. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Johns Hopkins University.
