COL Walt Yates (Ret.) is the former Program Manager for Training Systems at Marine Corps Systems Command. He was a Secretary of Defense Executive Fellow and graduate of the Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation (MOVES) Institute at Naval Postgraduate School. He has 16 years of experience in the development, acquisition, and application of Modeling and Simulation systems for training and systems engineering. His special areas of interest are in designing resource loaded strategies for mission readiness and cost-effective application of cybersecurity policy for the learning enterprise.
