PM CT2 Strategic Industry Engagement Roundtable

A round table discussion held by Program Manager for Cyber, Test, and Training (PM CT2).
Industry is concerned with understanding customer needs because it informs strategic investments in plant, people, equipment, and technology. At the same time, there is a limited understanding within the Department of Defense of how industry operates, how it responds to competition, and how it is affected by shareholders and profit motivations.
In today’s acquisition environment, it is imperative that the Government and Industry reach a better understanding of long term strategic imperatives. As a result, PM Cyber, Test, and Training (PM CT2) is focusing on new engagement opportunities to do the following:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of how industry operates to act strategically.
- Better understand senior industry leader perspectives and challenges.
- Enable interactions to fully understand and anticipate industry issues and challenges.
- Provide PM CT2 assessment of long term technology and capability gaps.
In this webinar, senior leaders will discuss their thoughts and insights on effective strategic engagement between Government and Industry. Afterward, the senior leaders will answer questions in this area submitted by attendees.

Colonel Hemingway will share his insights on the importance and value of industry strategic engagement and its role in enabling acquisition at the speed of relevance.

Admiral Robb will share effective engagements strategies and how both Government and Industry can work together to better understand each other’s perspectives.
Mike Genetti, CEO & President, MG Genetti & Associates, LLC
Mr. Genetti will share lessons learned from previous engagements, and how to maximize engagement sessions and collaboration.
Robert Miller, Deputy Product Manager Cyber, Test, and Training
Mr. Miller will share PM CT2’s expanded approach to Strategic Industry Engagement, including current efforts and future endeavors to breach the understanding chasm.
