Ms. Lora H. Muchmore is the Director of the Defense Business Systems Directorate in the Office of the Chief Management Officer. In this role, she leads the DoD business enterprise architecture, enterprise systems modernization and the investment review process for business systems. She has over twenty five years of experience in leading organizational change by defining and implementing more efficient and cost effective policies, processes, workforce and information technology. 

Prior to this position she was the Director of Business Process and Systems Modernization for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller), where she led financial management (FM) E2E business process efforts and financial system alignment to support the Comptroller’s vision of achieving CFO of the Future vision and a DoD FM environment that is standard, simplified, affordable, auditable and secure.
