Welcome to our LinkedIn Page. After more than 20 years being the reference program for Certified Modeling & Simulation Professionals, it was time for us to adjust to a new way to get in touch with the simulationists community. CMSP is the industry standard within the M&S community, it recognizes individuals as leaders in the M&S community and enhances professional advancement and career growth. Your CMSP designation signifies competence, skill, and experience related to modeling and simulation. As such, anyone working in the M&S field and anyone who considers M&S to be their profession—developers, managers, analysts, and users/customers— can be recognized and reclaim their CMSP certification. We now have three CMSP professional certifications to match your CMSP career. The Apprentice level is designed for individuals who are new to the M&S filed. The Practitioner level is for M&S professionals who have a demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, conduct short-term studies, translate project requirements into model contexts, and coordinate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to advance specific M&S project objectives. And the Master level is for M&S professionals who have a demonstrated understanding of the M&S body of knowledge and its application in a variety of contexts. CMSP Masters possess the capability to plan and execute short- and long-term M&S projects, design and implement complex and sophisticated models, conduct advanced research, communicate findings, and expand the application of M&S into new domains.
